While the core functionality of bonus bets is the same across most sportsbooks, each has some differences.
Here's what you need to know about bet365's bonus bets:
- You must use bonus bets within seven days of receiving them. The event doesn't need to settle in seven days — so you could bet on the Super Bowl winner in the summer — but the bet must be placed.
- bet365 Sportsbook will remove any bonus from your account if you're inactive for 90 days. Examples of inactivity include not placing bets, making deposits, using the casino, etc.
- There are no sport or wagering restrictions. You can use bonus bets on any sport bet365 offers, from football to tennis to esports.
- You can split the bonus bets up into any increments you want. If you have $100 worth of bonus bets and want to make 100, $1 wagers, you can. If you want to make one, $100 wager, that's fine too.
- Your bonus bet amount will show up in your betslip, and you need to check the box to say you'd like to use bonus bet funds on this wager, then you place a bet like normal.

bet365 bonus bets carry a 1x playthrough, meaning their winnings are eligible for withdrawal after you wager the bonus bets just once.

### What Is a Bonus Bet at bet365?
A bonus bet at bet365 is a promotional credit that you can use to place a wager. While you can't withdraw the bonus bet itself, you may withdraw any winnings from it, or use the winnings to continue betting.
bet365's bonus bets work the same way bonus bets do at most other sportsbooks and carry a standard expiration period (seven days from receipt).
A key difference is that bet365 lets you use your bonus bet sum in different denominations rather than set amounts — for instance, you might break up $365 in bonus bets into $1 wagers. At other sportsbooks, this isn't always possible.

### How to Obtain bet365 Bonus Bets
There are three primary ways you'll get bonus bets:
- Sign-up offer: If you're a new bet365 user, you can use this bonus code to claim a signup offer that comes with bonus bets. You'll then have to wager those and win to turn them into cash that can be withdrawn. You may claim bonus bets via bet365's bet-and-get or safety net.
- "Safety net" insurance on SGPs for existing users: bet365 will often offer one "safety net" bet on a particular event. Like if you bet a $20+ same game parlay on the Champions League, you'll get refunded in bonus bets if it loses.
- "Bet/get" offers for existing users: bet365 also runs what we call "bet/get" promotions, meaning if you place a certain wager, you'll get bonus bets no matter what.

## Other bet365 Bonus Bet Rules to Know
If you want to get even more into the weeds, here are some other rules about bet365 bonus bets you should know:
- If additional bonus bets are added while you already have an active bonus bets balance, the entire balance expires seven days after the most recent addition.
- You can mix bonus bets and cash on the same wager. If you place a $20 bet using $10 in bonus bets and $10 in cash at +200 odds, you'll get $50 returned ($40 in winnings plus the $10 cash stake), but the $10 bonus bet stake is excluded.
- If a bet pushes, bonus bet funds are not returned. The only exception is if the bet never had a chance to win — such as a prop bet on a player who doesn't participate.
- You cannot use bonus bets on teasers, profit boosts, bet boosts, or super boosts.
- Parlay boosts do not qualify for bets placed with bonus bets.
- Cashed-out bets, boosted odds bets, and event-specific bonus bets don't count toward any wagering requirements if you need to unlock additional bonuses.
- bet365 may apply a withholding tax on bonus bet winnings depending on your jurisdiction. Check the full Terms and Conditions for details specific to your state.
